Petronas Twin Towers, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, was known as the tallest building in the world, dethroning Chicago’s Sears Tower, up until 2004, when it was dethroned by Taipei 101. The Petronas Twin Towers was designed by architect Cesar Pelli, who, although having American citizenship, is Argentinean by origin. Though its 452 meters were reason enough to get everyone`s attention, the Twin Towers managed to attract through many other areas over the years, one of its greatest attractions being its beauty. The steel and glass combination shows the Islamic influence of the building and also guarantees its amazing look that has attracted visitors from all around the world.
